Pikes Peak BOCES provides special education support to 9 member districts. The Director and Assistant Director work together to address all issues related to Special Education.
The Pikes Peak BOCES employs Special Education teachers and Special Service Providers for its nine member districts. These teachers and specialists work with member districts under the supervision and evaluation of the Pikes Peak BOCES directors to offer a variety of services for students with disabilities.
The Pikes Peak BOCES acts as the Administrative Unit for each of their nine member districts. Other responsibilities include:

Responsibilities
The Pikes Peak BOCES acts as the Administrative Unit for each of their nine member districts. Other responsibilities include:- Supervision and evaluation of all special education staff employed by the Pikes Peak BOCES
- Screening, evaluation and identification of students with disabilities
- Instructional and behavioral programming of students in attendance at member districts
- All state and federal reporting and data submissions
