PEAK Program

The PEAK Program is a tiered intervention program for High Risk Youth which connects students to goals and future vision, delivers personalized instruction, creates a safe, and supportive environment. It targets expelled students and students at risk for expulsion. 

* Tier 1- Students remain in their home districts and receive social, emotional and behavioral interventions, as well as online academic support from the Pikes Peak BOCES.

* Tier 2- Students receive social, emotional and behavioral interventions, as well as online academic support from the Pikes Peak BOCES at their point of residence. 

*Tier 3- Students receive social, emotional and behavioral interventions, as well as online academic support at the Pikes Peak BOCES. 

                                                             2017/2018 Tier 3 PEAK Program Design

* The on-site program will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, beginning on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. & 2:57 p.m. 

* Monday and Friday will be used to schedule community outreach

* A Life Coach/Coordinator will be available on-site to meet the social and emotional needs of the students through Restorative Justice Practices. 

* The PPBOCES will provide academic support for those students who have placement in the PEAK Program.

* Each student is encouraged to complete three on-line courses per semester. The on-line platform is TBD.
