Teacher Induction Program
The Pikes Peak BOCES offers all teachers with an initial teacher license an opportunity to complete their Induction Program through the Two Year Alternative Licensure Program. Induction is not available for the 2018-2019 school year. Please check back for any future updates by visiting this page.

Once you have submitted an Induction Application and fee to Pikes Peak BOCES, Samantha Griffin will email you a list of approved classes for induction. These classes are strictly for audit.
Samantha will prepare a sign in sheet which your Instructor(s) will sign for you. It will be emailed to you when your check or money order is received for the classes. Either $150.00 (6 classes = 30 hours) for a member school: Big Sandy, Calhan, Edison, Elbert, Ellicott, Fremont, Hanover, Miami-Yoder, Peyton, District 20, Cheyenne Mountain District 12, District 11, District 49, District 8, District 2, District 38, District 3, District 60 or UTE Pass BOCES or $195.00 for any other non-district, charter, or non-member school. Fees are non-refundable once application has been submitted. Make checks payable to:

When you have completed the 6 classes you were registered for you will return the sign in sheet to Mollie either by mail, fax, scanned email or it may be dropped off at the above address.
An Induction Certificate will be emailed and mailed to you within one (1) week after you have submitted your sign in sheet to the office.
Classes are held from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. usually on the UCCS campus (unless designated otherwise). Please feel free to bring your own beverages, snacks or lunch. Please dress comfortable. If class is cancelled due to inclement weather please go to www.tirp.org. The cancellation will be listed on the homepage. This is usually posted no later than 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
